The mission of the St. Clair County Historical Society (STCCHS) is to inspire people by making the vibrant history of St. Clair County tangible, relevant and meaningful for today’s diverse communities and for future generations to come.

It is through this mission that we have launched the Discovery Campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to renovate the 1909 Queen Anne-style house at 705 E. Washington St. in Belleville, Illinois.

The 1909 Queen Anne-style house would be a place where our community’s memory would be safeguarded, preserved forever to inspire and challenge us. It would be a place that would spark a passion for the past and inspiration for the future.
